A Discussion Forum on "Innovative Promotion of the Common Cultural Heritage of the Cross-Border Region" will be held on 07-08 February 2020 in Strumica, North Macedonia.

The event is organized as part of the project "Young people - the new promoters of the cultural identity of the cross-border region", which is implemented in partnership by the Association Business Information and Consulting Center - Sandanski and Tourist Union - Strumica with the financial support of the European Union through INTERREG - IPA cross-border cooperation program between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia.

The aim of the forum is to provoke a discussion between representatives of the civil sector, local authorities and educational institutions on the challenges and opportunities for promoting the common cultural heritage of the cross-border region of the two countries. In this regard, good practices in the field of promotion of cultural heritage from Bulgaria and North Macedonia will be presented, joint initiatives and activities that will be implemented within the project. As part of the program of the event will be organized a visit to cultural and historical sites in Strumica and the region.

The costs for transport and accommodation of the approved participants will be borne by the organizers.
